Lets look at Lookbooks! Lookbooks are an amazing way a brand can show off their new line or products. Whether it is in video or photo format, it shows the products in use and provides a view at how the consumer can rock it. It helps to see the product to believe you need to buy it!

Above is Zadig and Voltaire’s Spring Summer 2019 Lookbook. Personally, I love it! I think it is such a fun and interesting way to show the product and other items that go with it. You can see the Western influence in a lot of garments along with some really fun elements like tie-dye. I think it is an important selling strategy because by showing an outfit and not just on item, the consumer might by the whole look rather than a piece.

    I agree with you that lookbook is a great selling strategies. I think there are some principles that can be generally applied to all cookbooks. I believe the most important principle is good photography. The lookbooks won’t be great if it does not have high quality, professional photo to work with, and therefore I think great lookbook starts with a stylized photo shooting!

    This was a very cool look book! I really like the aesthetic and how it’s simple yet still somewhat editorial. I do agree that I think lookbooks are great for advertising purposed. Even though its a soft sell, it still works!

    I love this look book! I love the western influence on the garments as well as the usage of pastels. I also agree with you that look books provide an interesting view on how to piece items together.

    This look book is amazing. It is cool to see the mix of pastel colors with a funky rock vibe. It really shows how the clothing can be utilized in many different ways!

    Love how cohesive this look book is! It gives us a really good idea of what the brand is trying to push it’s consumers towards. I also love how you set up the post, it flowed very well.
