Saint Laurent FW 2019 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Saint Laurent Fall 2019 Ready-to-Wear collection was one of my favorite runway shows from Spring 2019. Chiseled and sculpted lines, fluorescent lights, glow in the dark and eighties flare! The very itty bitty shorts, sheer patterned tights, transparent tops, sequins, ruffles, bows and sexy dresses kept it playful, bad-ass and feminine, but there is a touch of menswear, with the broad, strong tailored shoulder blazers and trousers. There was also an array of mens looks, which all consisted of tight fights, lots of black and white stripes and an overall rock-ish vibe. The finale, with the black light, was a really cool aspect and screamed the 80’s. Bright, neon, fuzzy and frilly, it was so fun to watch. It was also reminiscent of the new Louis Vuitton neon and glow in the dark bags that are blowing up which I found very interesting. Neon is definitely in and is not going anywhere anytime soon!

Hi Emily! Although I didn’t blog about Saint Laurent’s FW19 Ready-to-Wear show, it was one of my favorites. In my opinion, this collection really captures “city style” with the predominately sleek, black garments. The pops of neon add some fun to the collection and the black light really added something special to the show.
